Aspen Medical Products has been involved with the Challenged Athletes Foundation since 2001. Through donation, fundraising and volunteering, Aspen employees unify to support the CAF San Diego Triathlon Challenge. In 2009, Aspen had the privilege of being the title sponsor.

CAF Mission Statement: It is the mission of the Challenged Athletes Foundation to provide opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities to pursue an active lifestyle through physical fitness and competitive athletics. The Challenged Athletes Foundation believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life.
